Aseem Dosanjh was raised in Vancouver, where he majored in history and earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of British Columbia before leaving for law school in Ontario. He obtained his law degree at the University of Windsor, graduating in 2000. Aseem returned to BC and earned his call to the Bar in May 2001.

Aseem’s practice areas cover a variety of cases in the field of personal injury. Aseem is accustomed to litigating at all levels of court in British Columbia – Provincial Court, Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal – and he has carried out cases before juries and in judge-only proceedings.

The majority of Aseem’s practice involves motor vehicle accident claims representation (e.g. ICBC claims), he maintains an additional practice interest in product liability, occupier’s and social host liability (e.g. slip and fall, licensed establishments), and he also enjoys representing people who have been hurt or wronged through police negligence and/or security force negligence scenarios/claims. He also has developed a niche practice in assisting ICBC Claimants who are dealing with ICBC Breach scenarios or are being treated unfairly by ICBC.

Aseem joined the Trial Lawyers Association of BC (TLABC) early in his career. He has served as a member of TLABC’s executive committee since 2005 and has recently served as Secretary/Treasurer, Second-Vice President, First-Vice President¬†and currently takes great pride in his work this year as the President of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. Aseem is also a member of the South Asian Bar Association of British Columbia.

Aseem’s volunteer service outside the legal community has included executive membership with the South West Marine Drive Ratepayers Association. He has a high level of interest in his family and politics, but when time permits in his busy work schedule, sports are his primary interests external to the legal profession, including: hockey, football, softball and golf.
